During the last week of February 2020, Turlington Woods’s students were included in “Career Fair Exhibition – 2020.”

Started by Pastor Karl Wilkins of the Mount Suffolk, he invited Candice Watkins from Wine & Design, who hosted Art Therapy (painting with oils) involving the high school students on Monday. The theme was “Focus.”

The Suffolk Women’s Club brought materials for middle and high school students on Tuesday to help in the construction of surgery dolls, blankets and recyclable totes. This is the fifth year they have included our school.

Wednesday, Director of Food Service for the City of Portsmouth, Taurus Richardson, taught students how to make different types of omelets using their culinary skills.

On Thursday, Jay Hooper, engineer technician for the Navy Communication Command brought small robot kits for each student to construct.

Rounding out the week, Pastor Karl rounded out the week with “Pastor Karl “Minute to Win it!” games such as oreo challenge, corn toss, ribbon swirl, fill the cup m&m, volleyball, free throw contest and many more. Mayoral candidate Brian Bass also participated.
